Daryl Hall is best known as one half of Hall & Oates, the best-selling music duo of all time. With a sound that fuses rock, soul, and pop, he and John Oates dominated the charts in the late ‘70s and ‘80s with hits like Rich Girl, Maneater, You Make My Dreams, and Sara Smile. Hall’s musical journey started in Philadelphia, where he was deeply influenced by the city’s soul scene. He met John Oates at Temple University in the 1960s, and the two began collaborating, eventually breaking through with their unique blend of blue-eyed soul and rock. Beyond Hall & Oates, Daryl has had a successful solo career and is known for his passion for live music. In 2007, he launched Live From Daryl’s House, a web series where he jams with artists across all genres, from classic rock legends to modern-day indie stars. Even after decades in the industry, Hall continues to tour, record, and evolve as an artist, proving that great music never gets old.
